AIM GinkgoSense™—Thanks for the memories
“If I had known I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself.” Today that is just no idle statement. People are living longer. In this case, statistics don’t lie.
A male born in the United States in 1900 reached an average age of 48. A woman could expect to live to be 51. Today, the average life span for a man is 74, for a woman it is 82.
It is one thing to simply live longer. Living longer is a reality today. But living longer is no bargain if someone doesn’t live well and healthy. AIM GinkgoSense™ can assist an aging population with quality of life concerns. The fact is an aging person faces physical and mental challenges that can be debilitating.
AIM GinkgoSense™ combines a number of ingredients to address problems including dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, circulation troubles, and various vision difficulties. The vital ingredients in the product are Ginkgo biloba, bilberry extract, lutein, zeaxanthin, and DHA.
Ginkgo biloba—An herb that has been studied in the U.S. since the 1950s. Studies show it leads to an improvement in concentration and memory performance, learning capacity, and can help counteract dementia by increasing blood flow to the brain and extremities.
Age-Related Macular Degeneration (ARMD) is the leading cause of legal blindness among the elderly in developed nations. Ginkgo is effective in combating dry macular degeneration, which accounts for 90 percent of all ARMD.
There are different types and varieties of ginkgo but AIM uses only premium ginkgo that has been complexed with phospholipids for maximum bio-availability. A phospholipid is a fat molecule aiding in the quick absorption of nutrients.
Bilberry—While there have been few studies on this berry, anecdotal evidence from World War II indicates it can play a role in healthy vision. British and American pilots consumed bilberry jam because they believed it improved their night vision. Researchers found that the improved night vision was due to compounds in bilberry called anthocyanosides, which appear to fortify blood vessel walls thus improving blood flow to the tiny blood vessels that keep eyes healthy.
Lutein, zeaxanthin (derived from marigold flowers)—Studies have shown that these two carotenoids (also found in green leafy vegetables) are good for the eyes. While research is unable to pinpoint exactly how these function in the eye, there is evidence that a lack of them can lead to an increase in the possibility of macular degeneration and cataracts. Cataracts are the major cause of vision impairment in the U.S. and other developed countries.
DHA—Its formal name is docosahexaenic acid, which is an essential fatty acid. It is called essential because it is largely introduced into the body from diet. Fish oil is the most-known source. DHA is the most abundant fat in the brain and in the retina, and the brain is 60 percent fat. DHA and other fatty acids play a role in nervous system communication. Common sources of DHA are red meats, animal organs, and eggs. For many older people and for vegetarians, their diet needs to be subsidized by DHA because they either aren’t getting enough of it or their bodies are not as efficient in processing it.
AIM GinkgoSense™ is a wonderful product to aid in one’s neuro health, an important consideration for a graying population. At an advancing age, you can’t take memory, concentration, and vision for granted. But you can take AIM GinkgoSense™ to ease some of those fears.
