Hip, hip, hooray for AIM products, $mart$tart™

The highway of good ideas is littered with failures, setbacks, roadblocks, obstacles … lots of reasons to call it quits. Sometimes an idea works, sometimes it doesn’t.

When The AIM Companies™ introduced the $mart$tart™ program to our Members this summer, we knew it would put money into their hands quickly. Sponsor someone who makes a purchase and you receive a 20 percent bonus on the total BVP amount plus any commission you are entitled to based on your standing in the AIM Opportunity Compensation Plan. Pretty simple.

That silver lining of an idea has reminded us of what the company, its products, and its compensation plan are all about – this is a company grounded in people helping people, products helping people. It is about health, it can be about wealth.

Meet Jokelee Vanderkop, AIM DirectorJokelee joined the AIM family in March of this year. Five months later she became a Director. “Without trying to climb the AIM Opportunity Compensation Plan, I did,” says Jokelee. “I made Director without any intention of doing so.” She purchased AIM products for her own health, shared her testimony and results with friends, and they, too, became Members and began purchasing AIM products.

Jokelee, a former secondary school teacher, of Palmerston, Ontario, Canada, has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s follicular lymphoma. Says Jokelee: “This cancer is considered to be incurable. The tumors spread and grew rapidly. I was told I had a bulk cancer with tumors in the neck, chest, abdomen, and through the stomach.” After a lengthy course of chemotherapy, some of the tumors had shrunk but one was growing, meaning either a new form of cancer or a more aggressive lymphoma was at work. During her chemotherapy, she was taking AIM BarleyLife®, which “helped to reduce the chemo effects enormously.” But when she heard the chemo had not eliminated the tumors and one, in fact, was growing, she began using mega-servings of AIM products including AIM BarleyLife®, AIM Just Carrots®, AIM RediBeets®, AIM Herbal Fiberblend®, and AIM PrepZymes®.
The problem was, her need and use of the products outstripped her ability to pay for them.

Meet Ron and Mary Weber, AIM Star Sapphire DirectorsJokelee visited with them at a health and wellness fair in Palmerston. While she was a user of AIM BarleyLife®, she wasn’t a Member. Ron and Mary convinced her to join AIM. Mary recalls: “I shared with her the AIM Opportunity Compensation Plan and that by ordering product and sharing it with others, she could get a rebate check back when she became a Preferred Member, which would help pay for her products. She started to share her amazing story with others.” Her amazing story is, well, amazing! Jokelee took large servings of the AIM products for nearly three months then went back in for a CAT scan. “All my tumors had shrunk and a relatively new one in my left groin had disappeared. Taking the products, I had at best hoped that the tumors would at least not grow and, at worst, only a little before the next scan.”

Still, all those products at elevated servings are costly. This summer, when AIM debuted the $mart$tart™ program, the Webers saw the opportunity for Jokelee to benefit. Mary explains: “I encouraged Jokelee to use $mart$tart™. I encouraged her to talk to her friends and when they became Members she would get 20 percent of their BVP in a check as a thank you from AIM. She signed up six new Members and got $200 above her other earnings. She was stunned and shocked.”

Jokelee says she became an AIM Member “as a cost effective way for me to buy AIM products.” Then, she adds, “it took on a life of its own. Seeing how this ‘stuff’ helped me, friends asked to buy some. They told other people and then people I didn’t know well, but who knew of me and of my cancer, were amazed at how well I looked. I would tell them what I was doing and many wanted to try AIM products for themselves and they knew of people who could benefit from it. Before I knew it, the product I had ordered for myself was disappearing and I needed to order more.”
As she sponsored new Members into AIM, her monthly check increased and, once $mart$tart™ was in place, she began receiving even more income. It all begins, she says, with products that work. When they work, people buy more and it is an easy step to sponsor them as Members.

Jokelee’s story is typical of many in AIM. She tried traditional medicine and didn’t get the results she hoped for. She sought another option and met the Webers. They showed her a means to use all the product she wished and a way to pay for it – the AIM compensation plan and the $mart$tart™ program. The Webers are part of a family tree common to AIM. They helped Jokelee, someone helped them.

Meet Edna and Hilton Smith, Chairman’s Club DirectorsThe Smiths met the Webers in the spring of 1994 at a health fair in Toronto. Mary Weber had been an occasional user of AIM’s green barley powder but stopped using it after she quit nursing her youngest daughter. “No one explained the benefits of continuing to take it,” she explains. While at the health fair, she noticed an AIM booth and asked husband Ron to check it out. By the time she joined him, he had signed up as a Member. “The lady at the booth was Edna Smith,” says Mary. As for the Smiths, that chance meeting has turned into much more. “We have become great friends with Ron and Mary,” says Edna.

Edna praises the Webers for working with Jokelee. “She is very blessed to have Mary and Ron as her sponsors. They have not only encouraged her in healthy choices so that she has regained her health but Mary took the time to show her how she could earn income to pay for the product use. This is where the $mart$tart™ bonus played such a big part. Jokelee could not have earned this much money so quickly. She ‘caught the fire’ of what Mary explained to her. How she would be rewarded for helping others with the wonderful benefits of the AIM products.”

The Smiths believe that Jokelee should be a business model for new AIM Members. “Take three consecutive months and get to Director status. Forget about the baby steps of Preferred Member, Product Consultant, Group Builder, or Associate Director. If you focus on Director for three months you will automatically make the other promotions.” Plus, add in the income benefit from the $mart$tart™ bonus and “there is a snowball effect when people get excited about the AIM products and the business opportunity.”

The Smiths and Jokelee don’t know each other. Their common bond is AIM and the Webers. It is like that with AIM and multi-level marketing. Uplines, downlines … all in it together. People to people. Product to product. And the best news of all? Jokelee has a chance to regain her health on a lasting basis. And she knows she has a bunch of friends – seen and unseen, known and unknown – to help her along the way.
