You will notice a broad range of natural, botanical components in dailyLife™ products. To preserve the purity and efficacy of the products over time, we have included a minimal amount of preservatives (less than 1 percent of any product formula).

We believe all consumers have the right to choose carefully what they put in and on their body. Therefore, we have included this information on our dailyLife™ product ingredients to allow you to make a fully informed decision when choosing to use the dailyLife™ products.

Water
Because our products are so effectively absorbed, we are careful that the water your skin and hair is absorbing is safe and pure. Our water is treated by reverse osmosis, carbon filtration, distillation, and UV exposure.

Aloe Barbardenis Leaf Juice
Historically, aloe has been used topically for burns, inflammation, and other types of wound healing. Aloe barbadensis has a unique ability to penetrate the skin’s surface deeply (up to seven layers) to bring its soothing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties to the deepest cellular level. This intense penetration promotes restoration of tissue from the inside out while allowing hydration of the skin. Aloe’s pH is very close to our skin’s pH helping to restore or retain healthy pH in the skin and scalp.

Hybrid Safflower (Carthamus Tinctorius) Seed Oil
This moisturizing oil from safflower seeds is exceptionally high in oleic acids. It is deeply soothing, rich in vitamin E, and has been used for skin ulcers and wounds.

Glycerin
Glycerin is a key ingredient in dailyLife™ skin care products. Derived from a vegetable source, our glycerin balances the water in the skin. As a humectant, it draws water from the air and has a deeply hydrating effect restoring moisture balance and smooth, soft skin. It is especially gentle for those with sensitive skin.

Note: It was once thought that the same action that causes glycerin to draw water from the air would cause it to draw water out of the skin. This has been proven to be false. Glycerin maintains balance, but does not dehydrate the skin.

Glyceryl Stearate
Derived from natural stearic acid and glycerin, glyceryl stearate is an excellent emulsifier, contributing to a delightful product texture, and an emollient, moisturizing the skin and adding stability to the product.

Isopropyl Palmitate
Derived from palm oil, isopropyl palmitate is an emollient, softening and soothing the skin. Also an emulsifier, it helps ingredients to blend easily for a smooth pleasant product.

Stearic Acid
This acid can be derived from butter acid, cascarilla bark of vegetable lipids. It is very effective in smoothing and moisturizing the skin.

Olive (Olea Europea) Fruit Oil
Olive fruit oil has substantial moisturizing abilities and as an emollient helps to soothe and soften the skin.

Theobroma cacao (cocoa) Seed Butter
Also known as cocoa butter, this natural fat extracted from the seed of the Cacao fruit is rich in oleic, stearic and palmitic fatty acids. It prevents skin from drying and developing wrinkles. Cocoa butter is known to reduce the degeneration of skin cells and restore skin flexibility.

Shea (Butyrospermum Parkii) Butter
The Butyrospermum parkii (shea) tree is indigenous to Africa. The fruit of a shea tree is composed of slender, tart, nutritious flesh surrounding a moderately large, oil-rich seed from which shea butter is extracted. Shea butter can have both biochemical and physiological effects on the skin. It absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Shea butter can be effective at treating many different skin conditions some of which include: fading scars, burns, rashes, acne, blemishes, dark spots, skin discoloration, and dry and chapped skin. It can also provide natural UV sun protection, although the level of protection is extremely variable and sometimes unreliable, ranging from none at all to approximately SPF 6. Sun-sensitive persons should not rely on shea butter alone for protection.

Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinensis) Seed Oil
This versatile oil derived from the seed of the jojoba plant closely resembles our own skin sebum. The natural resemblance allows jojoba’s properties to be used easily by the skin. Jojoba is an excellent moisturizer and effective in skin hydration. It is considered an anti-wrinkle agent, promoting smooth, soft skin, and has antioxidant properties as well.

Cetearyl Alcohol
This fatty alcohol, derived from palm oil serves as a mild emulsifier, softens the skin and provides a thick, smooth product.

Cetearyl Glucoside
This combination of cetearyl alcohol and glucose creates a smooth consistency to the product as well as serving as a moisturizing emulsifier.

Cyclomethicone
Considered a skin conditioning agent, this emollient gives the skin a silky feel and evaporates quickly.

Hordeum Vulgare (Barley) Juice Concentrate
This barley juice concentrate, produced at the Sepallo AIM BarleyLife® plant, brings the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and nourishing properties of barley juice to AIM’s dailyLife™ products.

Camellia Sinesis (White Tea) Leaf Extract
Harvested from the new buds and young leaves of the tea plant, camellia sinesis, white tea retains high concentrations of catechins, which are powerful antioxidants. It also demonstrates calming and detoxifying properties.

Camellia Oleifera (Green Tea) Leaf Extract
The polyphenols found in green tea have been found to promote healthy skin. Known to fight bacteria and reduce inflammation, it also has a positive effect on hormone activity making it helpful in acne conditions. A recent study showed green tea polyphenols activate the enzyme capasase 14, which is effective in relieving psoriasis.

Mango (Mangifera Indica) Seed Butter
The oblong, flat seed in the center of the mango fruit is the source for this moisturizing butter. It is known for its ability to prevent wrinkles, reduce the degeneration of skin cells, and restore the skin’s elasticity.

Retinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A)
As a form of vitamin A, studies have shown retinyl palmitate can lead to more youthful skin as it replenishes the retinol (another form of vitamin A) in the skin and enhances deep hydration.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
The powerful antioxidant properties of this fat-soluble vitamin allow it to help protect the skin and scalp from damage and also enhance rapid skin repair. Vitamin E is known to be instrumental in alleviating dry skin, and speeding healing from lesions, abrasions, and burns. It has also been observed to help in diminishing scarring from injury or surgery.

Xanthan Gum
Derived from a vegetable source, xanthan gum helps to bind ingredients and is an excellent stabilizer.

Sodium Hyaluronate
Often used in the treatment of ocular conditions and joint diseases, sodium hyaluronate is found naturally in the intracellular matrix (the fluid between the cells) and contributes to the hydration of tissue, including skin.

Panthenol
A form of vitamin B-5, panthenol is deeply moisturizing and nourishing to the skin.

Sodium Hydroxide
This is a chemical base used to create specific reactions between ingredients and balance pH.

Carpylyl Glycol
This glycol is used primarily as a plant-based preservative.

Phenoxyethanol
This organic chemical compound is valuable as an anti-microbial component in our dailyLife™ products.

Hexylene Glycol
Used as a safe preservative and moisturizer, hexylene glycol also acts as a lubricant, allowing the cream to glide on smoothly. Hexylene glycol is not to be mistaken as ethylene glycol, a common industrial chemical. Hexylene glycol is approved for the use in cosmetics as a moisturizer with performance that exceeds that of vegetable glycerin, in lesser amounts.
